Laura Mensingh went to Costa Rica and put Nuud to the test there in the rainforest. We feel that this review (you can find the original Dutch version is here) needs some extra attention:
Hi Team Nuud,
Last December I travelled through Costa Rica and I have just got back to the Netherlands. This was a good time for me to test your product.
1. In Costa Rica the temperature outside is 20 to 27 degrees celsius with a humidity of 40 to 90%. I spent a lot of time in the rainforest and the cloud forest. During the day I was very active doing things like hiking, kayaking and rafting. It was only necessary for me to apply Nuud every third day!
2. Under the same conditions but without activities – only some strolling – I had to apply Nuud every third day as well! So, the type of activity doesn’t seem to affect the effectiveness of Nuud.
3. At the office in the Netherlands – where I sit in an air-conditioned room all day – I can apply every fourth day. It seems the temperature of the surroundings is of importance. Before I used the deo brand 8×4 and after half a day I had to wash my armpits and spray again. With Nuud this is no longer necessary.
Final verdict:
A. I’m completely satisfied because I’m fresh for at least 2 days!
B. The small tube is handy because it’s suitable for carry-on luggage (I seldom take check-in luggage with me when I fly).
C. It’s very good that it’s odour free.
D. I have my first Nuud tube for 6 weeks and it still isn’t empty.
